The Big Help Out on Wimbledon Common

To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation, King Charles is encouraging everyone to get out and volunteer in their local community and, alongside that, thousands of volunteer organisations and groups across the country will be coming together to showcase their volunteering work in the local community and to recruit new volunteers.

You can:

• Join in a Commons-wide litter pick
• Meet Wandle the Womble
• Learn about the volunteering opportunities on the Commons
• Meet lots of other local organisations and charities who will be showcasing their volunteering opportunities

The event is being supported by the Dons Local Action Group who will be joining in with Wandle the Womble, and by the Wimbledon in Sporting History WiSH foundation.

When: Monday 8 May 2023 from 2pm to 4pm
Where: Wimbledon Common, near the Windmill
