Mike Batt at MGSO4 Epsom & Ewell Arts Festival
Mike Batt will be performing ‘songs and anecdotes’ at Bourne Hall in Ewell, Surrey on Saturday 25 June at 4.30pm, as part of MGSO4 arts festival.
Tickets are £10 for adults, £9 for students and over-65s, or £6 for under-16s, plus a booking fee.
Join chart-topping, award-winning songwriter, musician, producer and conductor Mike Batt, who will be sharing stories of his career highlights and some of his greatest works intimately showcased on solo piano.
Mike is best known for creating The Wombles pop act, writing the global hit Bright Eyes and discovering Katie Melua. His chart-topping works span four generations and include hit songs for Steeleye Span, Art Garfunkel, Cliff Richard, Steve Harley, Roy Wood and Katie Melua. He has conducted many of the world’s great orchestras, including the London Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony and Stuttgart Philharmonic in both classical and pop recordings and performances.
Mike, who also runs an internationally successful record label, spends his time between his home in Surrey and in London.
