Alderney Blue Plaque Trail, issue date 6th January 2025, set of 6 stamps

Guernsey Post is issuing a set of stamps depicting famous and influential people associated with the island of Alderney, including Elisabeth Beresford.

Alderney’s blue plaque trail covers eight locations in and around the town centre of St Anne. The Wombles author Elisabeth Beresford lived at 22 Little Street, having moved there permanently in 1978 after enjoying family holidays on the island.
