Wombles annuals

A4-sized Wombles annuals were published from 1973 to 1979. Annuals are traditionally titled as the forthcoming year (1974 to 1980), and are often given as Christmas presents.

Several additional annual-style books were published as compilations of existing stories and features. Later, a 1991 annual was made up of material from the 1979 and 1980 annuals.

The 1999 annual, published to coincide with the brand new TV series, contained new stories and activities, with a bigger role for Shansi and Alderney, and new characters Stepney and Obidos.
